DeepOut is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your documents and creative work remain on your device and under your control.

Data We Collect

We collect minimal data:

• Account Information: If you purchase a subscription through the App Store, Apple handles the transaction. We receive only a transaction receipt to verify your subscription status.
• Crash Reports: Anonymous crash reports may be collected to improve app stability. These contain no personal content.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Your documents, notes, or any content you create
• Your file system or folder structure
• Personal identifiers beyond what's needed for subscription verification
• Usage patterns or behavioral data

AI Features

When you use AI features, your prompts are sent to the AI service provider you have configured (e.g., GLM, OpenAI). Please refer to the respective provider's privacy policy for how they handle your data.

You can use your own API keys to maintain direct control over your AI interactions.

Local Data Storage

All your documents are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your files. Backup and sync are handled through your own iCloud or file system preferences.

Third-Party Services

• Apple App Store: Handles subscription payments and management
• AI Providers: Only when you explicitly use AI features

Data Security

DeepOut runs in a sandboxed environment with access only to folders you explicitly grant permission to. Your data never leaves your device unless you choose to use cloud-based AI features.

Children's Privacy

DeepOut does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences.
